EU Parliament is ready to negotiate for EUDR simplification
EU Parliament, after the vote held on Wendsday 26 November 2025, is ready to start negotiations with member states on the final shape of the law, which has to be endorsed by both Parliament and the Council and published in the EU Official Journal before the end of 2025, for the one-year delay to enter into force. EU regulation on batteries and waste of batteries: a new way for circular economy
On 10 July 2023 the European Council adopted a new regulation (batteries and waste of batteries) that strengthens sustainability rules: for batteries; for waste batteries; This regulation covers all categories of batteries including: all waste portable batteries; electric vehicle batteries; industrial batteries; starting, lightning and ignition (SLI) batteries (used mostly for vehicles and machinery); batteries for light means of transport (e.g. electric bikes, e-mopeds, e-scooters). CBAM approved by EU Parliament. Next step: EU Council approval
On 18.04.2023, the EU Parliament approved the carbon border adjustment border mechanism (CBAM) together with other measures. Now, the mentioned measures must be formally endorsed by the EU Council. They will then be published in the EU Official Journal and enter into force 20 days later.
